Marietta Brady
Marietta comes to us with a wide variety of massage therapy experiences and is a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist. Her approach is to listen to a client’s body in stillness and to allow the fluid body to guide the treatment. Her massage sessions are thorough and detailed to the client’s needs. She believes deep tissue is not only about applying deep pressure but bringing fluidity to a client’s whole being. Massage sessions include a variety of techniques including cranial holding, fluid stretching, pin and stretch, cross fiber friction, and pressure points. After graduating from Fort Lewis College, she moved to Tucson, AZ where she started her healing arts journey after she received a massage session for pain in her knees. The session not only left her feeling good in her knees but also in her mind and soul as well. After this profound experience, she decided to become a bodyworker and graduated from the Providence Institute in 2006. Since then, she has continued her healing arts education in various modalities including Myotherapy 7-Step Release System, Ashiatsu, Ashi-Thai, and Rejuvenating Waters. Marietta felt she wanted to connect beyond the manipulation of soft tissue of clients. In 2019, she started her journey into Craniosacral work with a Biodynamic Perspective with Heidi Wilson in Tucson, AZ. She completed 4 levels in this training. She felt that receiving and giving this treatment is similar to ceremonial healing that goes beyond the immediate body to be supported by the universe and heal within. In 2023, Marietta and her family moved to Durango, CO. She is looking forward to being a part of the healing arts community here. She strives to create a sacred space for healing to take place, curating each massage or craniosacral session to a client’s needs. On her days off, Marietta enjoys a variety of arts and crafts, writing poetry, and exploring the region with her two kids and husband.
Brianna H.
Brianna began her journey in the healing arts long before her formal education. As a lifelong caregiver to her beautiful mother, her dream from a young age was to bridge the gap between holistic healing modalities and western medicine. Brianna’s approach to bodywork is rooted deeply in appreciation for this gift; healing bodies through touch.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Medicine, she attended the Crestone Healing Arts Center to receive her massage license. This provided her with the ability to touch after many years of studying the body at the collegiate level. The combination of these studies allows Brianna to use her background in anatomy and research along with energetics and physiology to guide her work.
Brianna’s skills include an all-embracing range of expertise. From sports massage and deep stretching techniques to prenatal care, reiki, cupping and energetic acupressure work. As she continues to pursue her dream of bridging the gap between medical worlds, Brianna chose to specialize her skills in medical massage and intuitive work. She emphasizes that every massage is different and she works intuitively to let each person’s body guide her sessions.
As a Colorado native, Brianna enjoys many mountain activities like snowboarding, hiking, bird watching, soaking in hot springs, practicing yoga, petting dogs, thrifting costumes for her many themed parties and howling at the full moon.
